A busy holiday week calls for quick, satisfying suppers like this one!
Broccoli Cheese Chicken and Stuffing
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 15 min. - Cook Time: 40 min.
4 1/2 cups Pepperidge Farm(R) Herb Seasoned Stuffing
2 tbsp. butter OR margarine, melted
3/4 cup water
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
6 boneless chicken breast halves
Paprika
1 can Campbell's(R) Broccoli Cheese Soup
1/3 cup milk
Directions:
CRUSH 1/2 cup stuffing and mix with 1 tbsp. butter.
MIX water, remaining butter and broccoli. Add remaining stuffing. Mix
lightly. Spoon into 3-qt. shallow baking dish. Arrange chicken over
stuffing. Sprinkle with paprika.
MIX soup and milk. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle reserved stuffing
mixture over soup mixture.
BAKE at 400ºF. for 40 min. or until done. Serves 6.
Kitchen Clip:
Toss salad fixin's from the salad bar with your favorite dressing, and
bake biscuits with the chicken casserole to complete the menu. Serve
caramel apples from the bakery for dessert.
