Recipe of the Day:

It's single-skillet simplicity and 'souper' flavor when Campbell's does
the cooking, as our Skillet Chicken &
Rice proves!

Campbell's Skillet Chicken & Rice
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cook Time: 35 min.

1 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 boneless chicken breast halves
1 can Campbell's Condensed Chicken Broth
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
Paprika

HEAT oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove chicken.
ADD broth, water, basil and garlic. Heat to a boil. Stir in rice.
Cover and cook over low heat 5 min.
STIR in broccoli. Top with chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and
cook 15 min. or until rice is done. Serves
4.

Shopping List:

1 can Campbell's Condensed Chicken Broth
4 boneless chicken breast halves
Regular long-grain white rice
Vegetable oil
Fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
Dried basil leaves
Garlic powder
Paprika

Kitchen Clip:

If using fresh broccoli, choose clusters that are compact, with dark
green flowerets. Avoid those that are light
green and yellowing or with thick, woody stems.
